Overview and agreement

By using dripessa.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or order from us.

Dripessa ("Dripessa," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by [Dripessa], based in [RI], United States. Our store runs on Shopify. These terms apply together with our Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, which are part of this agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you order for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

Products

Every Dripessa product is made to order. Coffee is roasted and packed after you order, and apparel and accessories are printed after you order.

• Descriptions and photos: we work to describe and show products accurately. Colors can look different on your screen, and flavor notes describe a coffee's taste profile, not added ingredients unless the product page says so.
• Ingredients and allergens: check each product page and the package label before you drink. Some flavored coffees use natural and artificial flavorings. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, contact us before ordering.
• Caffeine: our coffees contain caffeine unless labeled decaf. Ask your doctor if you're pregnant, nursing, or sensitive to caffeine.
• No health claims: our products are food and apparel, not medicine. Nothing on our site is medical advice.
• Availability: products and flavors may change or sell out without notice, and we may limit quantities.

Orders, pricing and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm and begin making it; the order confirmation email only confirms we received it.

• Order review: we review every order before production, usually within 1 business day. We may cancel and fully refund an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, an address we can't ship to, or an item we can't make.
• Prices: all prices are in US dollars. We may change prices at any time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
• Mistakes: if a product is listed at the wrong price or with wrong information, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after it's confirmed. We'll tell you if this happens.
• Taxes: sales tax is added at checkout where required. International orders may owe import duties or fees, which the customer pays.
• Payment: payment is taken at checkout and processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.

Shipping, delivery and refunds

Shipping times, costs, and where we ship are in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, and carriers' delays are outside our control.

Ownership and the risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order to the shipping address you gave us. Please check your address at checkout.

Returns, replacements, and refunds follow our Refund & Return Policy. Because everything is made to order, we don't accept returns for change of mind, but we'll make it right if an item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong.

Promotions, discounts and bundles

We run limited-time offers, discount codes, and bundle deals (for example, "any 3 bags, save 15%"), including offers shown in pop-ups on our site.

• Each offer has its own terms, shown with the offer, including dates, minimums, and eligible products.
• Unless an offer says otherwise, discounts can't be combined, have no cash value, and can't be applied to past orders.
• Codes are for personal use and may be limited to one use per customer.
• We may end, change, or cancel any promotion at any time, and may cancel orders that misuse an offer.

Cleo, our chat assistant, and our emails

Cleo is the AI chat assistant on our website. She can recommend products, explain our policies, and check an order's status when you give her the order number and the email used.

• Cleo's answers are for general help. She can't approve refunds, replacements, cancellations, discounts, or exceptions, and nothing she says changes these terms or our policies. Our team confirms anything that needs a decision, by email from cleo@dripessa.com.
• AI can make mistakes. If an answer matters to you, check the product page or email us.
• Don't share card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information in the chat. Chats may be stored to improve our service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Emails: if you sign up for our emails, we'll send news, offers, and coffee tips. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Order and service emails (such as confirmations and shipping updates) are sent even if you unsubscribe from marketing.

Using our site

Please use dripessa.com only for lawful, personal shopping. You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or use the site to commit fraud.
• Interfere with the site's security or operation, including bots, scraping, or attempts to access accounts or systems that aren't yours.
• Try to trick our chat assistant into revealing private information or making offers we haven't made.
• Resell our products as your own without our written permission.

Accounts: if you create an account, keep your login private. You're responsible for activity on it.

Reviews and content you send us: if you send reviews, photos, or comments, you confirm they're yours and truthful, and you give us a free, non-exclusive license to use, edit, and show them on our site and social media. We may remove content that's abusive, false, or off-topic.

We may suspend access or cancel orders for anyone who breaks these terms.

Intellectual property

The Dripessa name, logo, our coffee bean mascot and crew characters, product designs, photos, artwork, and all site text belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may share links to our site and products. You may not copy, sell, or use our name, mascot, designs, or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted partners to run the store: Shopify hosts the site and checkout, payment processors handle payments, our production partners roast and print your order, and shipping carriers deliver it. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

Our site may link to other websites, such as social media. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms or our policies, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived under consumer protection law.

Indemnification, governing law and disputes

You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breaking these terms or misusing the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State] and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [State], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Before starting any formal dispute, please email us at cleo@dripessa.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Most problems are fixed quickly.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to orders placed after they're posted, and continuing to use the site means you accept them.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, with our policies, are the whole agreement between you and Dripessa about the site and your orders.
